For years the LCA has honored Working Pack Dog titles from the Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Club of America earned by Leonbergers and their handlers. Fortunately, we now have our own Leonberger Club of America Working Pack Dog Program.

Our program, open exclusively to purebred Leonbergers, recognizes three levels of Working Pack Dog titles: Working Pack Dog Novice, Working Pack Dog Advanced and Working Pack Dog Excellent.

Specific guidelines are included in the LCA document entitled; “Leonberger Club of America: Working Pack Dog Program”. Guidelines for Hikers, Title Requirements, Hike Definitions, Documentation Instructions, and a Title Application Form are detailed in this writing.
